Paolo Arrigo from Franchi Seeds
On a wet evening in February Paolo Arrigo from Franchi Seeds entertained a full audience from Marlow Horticultural Society to a colourful trip around Italy. In a world of seeds we were introduced to the stages of growing seeds, from how to plant and when to plant the seeds to achieve the best results.
Picking examples of seeds from the Franchi display stand we learnt the full story behind these individual seed packets, from the Pomodoro beef tomato’s, to the Zucchino courgette’s and so many more delicious vegetables.
They are so easy to grow, once the soil warms up, simply prepare a seed bed & protect the young seedlings from pigeons and watch them grow allowing the rainwater to feed them the natural nutrients’ they need. By June and July you will be picking fresh vegetables for your table and enjoying these healthy vegetables with their own home grown flavours.
